Workforce Courses and Workshops
The truck driving program provides technical knowledge and driving skills for students to obtain employment in the trucking industry. The program uses the Entry Level Driver Training Curriculum, and all training meets and exceeds industry standards. Per regulations, drivers are permitted to take the CDL skills test only if the state can verify the driver has successfully completed the required training by a registered training provider.

Course Requirements
Students must obtain a DOT physical and CDL permit prior to being admitted into this course.

* Students will attend 10 days in the classroom and lab and two days in a clinical facility. Dates are shortened by two days for classes under 12 students.

The Workforce class tuition is $775/student and the length of the class is three weeks. Due to the brevity of the course, the workforce class does not qualify for Pell Grant funding. It will, however, complete the requirement for the ag娱乐官网 LPN program. Those wishing to use Pell Grant should enroll in the semester-long college course by contacting a ag娱乐官网 advisor at 870-391-3115 to schedule an appointment.

There are several options for enrollment in the monthly workforce classes. The is self pay, facility-sponsored student, grant-sponsored student and Arkansas Workforce Challenge Scholarship student.
